Cobra Trailer
Finally making some progress on my trailer. After spending a small fortune getting "fake" knock-offs, I ended up using real ones. This was a spare pair of "rears" I had tried to put on the front of my car, but they just wouldn't go (and I had already spent $$$ having them polished and painted).

Scan0005_0005
Another Cobra Club pit stop. The maroon 289 belonged to Ed Rosenblum, and had Dragonsnake knock off alloy wheels, dual quads, etc. The paint was just a little rough. The owner of the acqua 289 was Bob Kraus.

Three V8s, one V12
Our collection at its insane max: Cobra, Shelby, Tiger and Ferrrari (still with Italian plates), all in a one bath starter house. We had our priorities right!

New Crank Pully
I had a crank pully custom made out of aluminium, the original pully had too many un-needed bits. I also wanted the power steering pump rpm reduced, so I had a smaller pully machined, this should also reduce some load on the engine

Plastic Valve Covers
Here are two sets of plastic COBRA valve covers I made in the 70's. Thought the clear ones would really be cool. To really get the detail, I would have had to drill small air holes in them to get the vacuum machine to work well - I wasn't willing to do that.

Brake relocation
Rear brake relocation was needed to allow clearance between the coilovers and the calipers. Re-drilled calliper mount bracket holes so the caliper sits about 40 degrees foward from original position. Also had to swap Left & Right brake assemblys to opposite sides, so the hand brake cable now will run on top of the axle & still be accuated by a foward movement. I wonder if others have thought of this solution?

Assembling the oil cooler
To fit the oil cooler, I had to remove the rivets from one half and reinstall the bottom shroud after the cooler was in place.
