Rolling

Well looks like we got in the frame ok. Drive shaft looks like it will be a bit short. Talk about your tight fit! Less than 1/4 inch on both sides of the trans pan!

Steering modification

I've modifed the steering to run teflon lined chrome molly rod ends rather than regular tie rod ends. This gives me a bit more clearance for wider front rims and it improves the bump steer characteristics.

Snakes

Fabricated headers to increase primary tube length rather than use OEM Short FIA block hugger type. A "LOT" of work.

CSX 24xx? from the Great Book of Sports Cars

Unidentified CSX listed under the heading Shelby 427 Cobra in 'The Great Book of Sports Cars' by Dean Batchelor.Other than this obvious mislabeling, it is a great, huge coffee table book with hundreds of outstanding pictures like this one. The question is- WHAT CSX IS THIS???

Algon mechanical fuel injection for ford 427 MR

This is a mechanical fuel injection system made in the 1960's, hilborn style, constant flow - low pressure. It has 1 7/8" throttle bores, close to 48mm. This intake was also made with the throttle bores straight up, as opposed to at a 45 degree angle like this one. Probably a good start for an electrical fuel injection conversion. As there are no venturi's, it should flow better than 48IDA's, about 30% better.
