Kirkham 289 built by Hawk Cars
This is how we do it here in the good old U of K! Gerry Hawkridge`s perfect example of a Kirkham 289, photo by his mechanic Martyn. I want that car SOOOO much, it hurts!
Picture the scene. A crisp English Autumn Sunday morning, the smell of the leather, breath forming ever-more rapid clouds of anticipation in front of your face....the chatter of the fuelpump signals you to hit the starter and the tailpipes joyously bark the awakening of 8 cylinders of pure adrenalin....just for you. The sweeping country roads beckon you out, nothing else matters now, it`s just you and your Cobra. Heaven!

Webs2
Here is what the Webers looked like on my 351C - poking thru the hood. I milled 1/4" off the top of the manifold to increase clearance.

Plastic Valve Covers
Here are two sets of plastic COBRA valve covers I made in the 70's. Thought the clear ones would really be cool. To really get the detail, I would have had to drill small air holes in them to get the vacuum machine to work well - I wasn't willing to do that.

Home turf
early Sunday morning, no trafic, with the exhaust sound reverberating throughout the valley, driving up this road with my Contemporary is about the best experience you can imagine. Many roads like this here in Mallorca.
