Progress being made on polishing....
Looks easy...It's NOT!!!! To get to this point it took me approximately 40 hours. To get all the deep marks out, it requires a lot of sanding, and of course once you start polishing, you'll end up sanding again, because you'll notice all the stuff you missed. Frustrating to say the least.

Original Ford 427 carburetor - Lemans bowels
Holley lists # 3255-1 as original equipment for a 1965-67 Ford 427 Hi-Riser race engine, 780 cfm, model 4150-C,
Ford # C5AF-9510BV, tag # C5AF-BVA. I believe this to be the original equipment carburetor for a 427 comp cobra.

Front view, Lemans bowels, I believe the first design of center pivot floats for road racing.
Holley lists this carburetor, # 3255-1 as original equipment for a 1965-67 Ford 427 Hi-Riser race engine, 780 cfm, model 4150-C,
