Naja

'Naja evolvere' with wire knockoffs
This is 'Naja evolvere' (the 'evolved Cobra') with 17 inch Dayton (Triple Cross) 100 spoke wire wheels (true knockoffs). The base coat is a pearl white, and it has subtle, ghosted graphics on the hood and truck (and another image under the hood). I built the car to 'explore the envelope' with what is possible to do with a Cobra (at a reasonable - ??? - price) - not just the common (no offense intended) 427/428, 5/7 gauge, Guardsman blue with Wimbledon white stripes Cobra. (If the above is what you REALLY want, then I congratulate you - vive la differance!).
Naja is very heavy at 3200 lbs. (fully loaded), but makes for a TERRIFIC road car (which is what I wanted). It has a 533 cid, programmable EFI engine, C6, a/c, cruise, tilt, stereo/CD (for when you stop), 13 gauge functions, power steering/brakes, sidepipe shields - everything that a Cobra is NOT supposed to have.
It is a West Coast model, being longer and wider than standard. This set of wheels takes 235/45/17 fronts and 285/45/17 rears - Bridgestone Potenza 730s (very aggressive 60k tires).

1965 427 S/O Original Cobra Engine
Photo from 1965 issue sports Car Graphic Magazine.
Other than a remote oil filter, this is the original engine for a 427 competition Cobra. Just add the turkey pan.

Ride Height
Trigos: When ride height is correct, tire-to-wheel opening looks right. No one does a better job of this than ERA. Note exhaust color. When the A/F mixture is right on with leaded gas, it leaves a nice tan appearance.

EM COBRA Overriders Rear
9-21-02, I added the Rear Bumper overriders. They came out looking really great, and were A LOT easier than the front ones.

Davey Allison's truck
A few pictures of my toys.
This is a one of a kind truck it,s a 1993 Mark III Offical Conversion Flair-Side Truck of NASCAR, made especially for the personel use of Davey Allison.
I was the high bidder on this at september 2002 auto fair in Charlotte NC.
The truck had less than 7000 miles on it.as of april 2/03 it still less than 7500 miles on it.
The wife and I plan to keep it in the same condition as it was when the Allison family decided to let it go.

1591 Interior
Here's the interior of 1591. That's a 14" wheel, in case anyone was wondering. At 6'3" it's much more comfortable than the stock 15".
