Algon mechanical fuel injection for ford 427 MR

This is a mechanical fuel injection system made in the 1960's, hilborn style, constant flow - low pressure. It has 1 7/8" throttle bores, close to 48mm. This intake was also made with the throttle bores straight up, as opposed to at a 45 degree angle like this one. Probably a good start for an electrical fuel injection conversion. As there are no venturi's, it should flow better than 48IDA's, about 30% better.

This is the eye that is grabbed by the lower latch hook. You are looking at the inside of the trunk lid.

Weber Guages

Two on top left hold float to proper height; two lower left are for measuring float level. Top right is tang-bending tool, lower right is to measure fuel inlet needle setting. (center tools perform same functions as the two on left, just slightly different designs).
