this is what i have been doing lately back in a sprintcar. it's a better ride than a cobra. nothing like going sideways at over a 100 mph. jim

Not a Cobra, but the right engine.
Front mounted V8 and weight of veichle (2150 lbs w.o. driver) makes this the same set-up as in a Cobra. And the years aren't bad either- it's a 1970 Mercury (Ford in Europe) Capri.

Weber intakes for 351C
The lower manifold is a standard Weber intake for a 351 Cleveland. The upper one is port a 351C with "High-Port" heads. Note the difference in material above and below the port on the two manifolds.

Nice rain car. Not nice chicane apex protectors! Not wet inside at speed, warm & toasty. Wind removes windshield rain nicely. Too much radiator in cool weather, too much rain on discs until both taped-off.
