1965 K code Mustang convertible
My Mustang was featured on "My Classic Car" with Dennis Gage in 1972. Dennis attended the Woodward Ave. Dream Cruise that year, an on the next day, we spent about six hours filming the 8 minute clip that appeared on the show (his crew said it was common to shoot an hour of video for every minute that appears "on air"). We shot every scene about three times.

RMC Series 3
Left hand photos showing door opened with red buckets fitted although temporary.
These buckets were previously fitted to a older Cobra and bought on ebay for $100 a pair.
They are SAAS modified seats with a 41cm base/cushion
The seats look good but I think a little narrow!

RMC Series 3
Here is another view of the SAAS racing seats which were modified at great expense by previous matured aged Cobra owner and bought cheaply by myself.
These seats were legal at the time of the build according to the previous owner which I do not doubt.
To those that Modify Mazda MX5 seats here is another option if you operate on a budget.
I tried to fit MX5 seats into the RMC and they do not fit unless you modify the floor or tracks which defeats the whole purpose when you can pay upto $600 a pair.

snakewench's new toy!
Update: This car went to Snake Heaven in March of 2013. Yep, I spun-out on a flat curve and smacked a tree, crunched the frame (see pic in Aunt Bea's album)

FIA_Suitcase_Study1
It’s documented that (2) AC factory cars were prepared with FIA suitcase "dimples" (See Photos). The second modification was to enlarge the trunk base to allow the suitcase to fit upright (vertical) and further down into the trunk as shown. If you look closely at the photo you can see the suitcase also fit horizontal and was held in place with a “bungee cord”. You can also see the bolts protruding out the bottom of the suitcase which originally held the suitcase upright. I think this also explains why some of the FIA cars had dimples while others didn’t.
As for the actual size of the suitcase – FIA Historic Racing Championships - Appendix J. Both 1964 and 1965.
State:
“270 - Luggage trunk
A covered space being an integral part of the coachwork but outside of the space occupied by the front seats, large enough to receive a trunk of
65 cm X 40 cm X 20 cm. minimum, besides the spare wheel, tools or the folded hood, shall be provided, excluding the spare wheel, tools or removed canopy.”

Notching a Weiand Stealth manifold like Edelbrock Air-Gap
My "home made" Bridgeport Mill...well, have a milling bit anyway...took a while to figure out how to feed the work so the bit wouldn't chatter. First pass the bottom was uneven. Second pass rigged up a better support and got the notch parallel to the carb pad.
