Progress being made on polishing....
Looks easy...It's NOT!!!! To get to this point it took me approximately 40 hours. To get all the deep marks out, it requires a lot of sanding, and of course once you start polishing, you'll end up sanding again, because you'll notice all the stuff you missed. Frustrating to say the least.

Made room for gauge
1/4" taken off the fuel lines to make room for fuel pressure gauge.

Square header tube
Home made Square header tube press, just place in the vice & knock the tube square from the inside with a blunt chisel. worked perfect for me!

Algon mechanical fuel injection for ford 427 MR
This is a mechanical fuel injection system made in the 1960's, hilborn style, constant flow - low pressure. It has 1 7/8" throttle bores, close to 48mm. This intake was also made with the throttle bores straight up, as opposed to at a 45 degree angle like this one. Probably a good start for an electrical fuel injection conversion. As there are no venturi's, it should flow better than 48IDA's, about 30% better.
