CSX 3012 in the Paddock
CSX 3012 in the paddock at the Santa Barbara airport course, May 29, 1965. The younger gentleman standing next to the car is believed to be (but not positively identified as) Lother Motschenbacher, owner and driver of the car in the 1965 season. The Clarence Dixon Cheetah #33 appears in the background.

eight years. This black bear from Montana has ceased hunting for a living and is sitting outside the US Fish
& Wildlife Service office in Kalispell, apparently waiting to be fed and to have his winter den dug by
government employees. The residents of Kalispell are calling him Bearack Obama.

First coat went on yesterday. The colour is from VZ Monaro & known as Turismo with additional Pearl. Now the stripes, clear and flow coat and it should be out of the painters next week.

Finally done!!
I feel like I have turned a corner with getting the hood and trunk hinged and functional. I still cant see the light...but at least I can see the next corner.

302 Engine installed
Here is my 302 engine installed. It's been bored .030, edlebrock heads, Victor Jr intake, 750 Holley, Brad Anderson cam, Ford Racing roller rockers. I got it from a '91 Mustang a guy built for drag racing. It's a "hot" sweet motor. We haven't cranked it yet, in the Cobra, but plan to next week.
