BDR headers for FE; check out the collector flange welding, or lack there of. Think these would leak?

Weber Filters (Home Made)
Just a first try. SS mesh & Neoprene caps from McMaster Carr. Just wanted to see if it would work. Now that I know they do, I can clean them up a bit. Blurry picture is hiding the dirty engine compartment.

passenger side inner door
This a different proposed pattern I am considering. Again the black will carpeted to match the floor and the blue would be painted to match the car.

351W with SB Headers
This is the dummy 351W with the headers from Street Beasts. Earlier, I tried Factory Five headers, but they just wouldn't work out on this body.

rear suspension
Had the body off so I figure would take a pic of the rear set up complete.

Trunk hinge support
When I got this kit the trunk lid and hood were not attached to their frames. So before joining the two together I figured I would give the hinges something solid to bolt to...and also add some strength. The holes are 5/8 and I am making some press fit threaded collars to put in the holes for 3/8 bolts.

Something like this would be good with me.

Rear springtower detail
Not much room above rearend. This is the reason a jag rear and top mount will not work . It would work with side mounts

Notching a Weiand Stealth manifold like Edelbrock Air-Gap
My "home made" Bridgeport Mill...well, have a milling bit anyway...took a while to figure out how to feed the work so the bit wouldn't chatter. First pass the bottom was uneven. Second pass rigged up a better support and got the notch parallel to the carb pad.

Shelby Show 5/11/13
"Honey, yes, I need 2 gallons of distilled water and a bunch of microfiber cloths".
I crept at a snail's pace in a long line of Shelby's latest Mustangs for almost 30 minutes and it was starting to get hot. They finally let me in. I got out, stretched and poof! The green steam show. Luckily the hood was down because people could have been burned and the Tiger next to me wouldn't have been happy. Coolant shot out of the hood scoop like a toddler sneezing through his nose. Nothing some water and a 5/16" wrench couldn't fix but what a mess.
Thanks for the help, Dean! (RedBarchetta)
Woudn't have been the same without 'cooler heads' (pun intended) prevailing!

Original 427 needing cosmetics. Never thought they would remain this cheap come 1973!

Full Comp 427's would never be 5-figures again after this, at least as far as I know.

In 1986 this was a steal for a Street/Comp car, would be more in line with an exceptional street model 427.

Car was being offered for $165k at some point in 1979, more than what a Daytona would go for then. Probably the weirdest cobra ever made.
