First Show
10-07-02. I took the Cobra to Pawley's Island, SC for a local car show. I had it listed as "work in progress". It got A LOT of attention, even as it sits. I look forward to the completion. It should show well.

427 Roller
Another shot of the 427 car. Ever wonder why the early cars run hot? The rad was set back at the top and the air would run straight over the top and not through the rad. Guess what happens if you lean it forward?

Moved shifter to the "forward" position in the TKO housing. This is about same location as top-loader shift would be. Patch gives you an idea how far back shifter was before. Shifter is a piece from Mike Forte's shop. The doublers on the floor are for the seat mounting bolts.

Remote filter & cooler plumbing
Oil goes out of the engine to the filter and then forward to the cooler then back into the engine. I intend to install a thermostat.

When bypassing the box I have to move one wire from left to the right. Left or rear is power in. forward or right is resisted power for coil and a yellow from starter solinoid for resister bypass when starting.

Convertible Top - Going
Top raised in rear to accomodate lowered windshield and 427 style rear roll-bar brace (my roll bar is braced forward AND back).
