WARNING! Must wear dark shades to avoid eye damage
This is CSX 4039, an exact duplicate of Shelby's own CSX 3056. It is one of four with a hand rolled aluminum body by Bruce and Colin Kimmins, not Kirkham. The difference is noticable. This is a very low serial number, one of the first made, was run on the track at SAAC-27 to over 145 mph, and, as confirmed by Gary Patterson and Bob Marsh at SAI, as close as you can get to a 3000 series car, and, as the license says, definately "No Fake".

Front fender underside
Here is the LF fender from underneath. Underside is sanded smooth, added a slight rolled edge to simulate an original aluminum fender.

Rolled fender lips
I had the bottom sides of the fenders sanded smooth, and added 3/16" foam padding to them to protect from stone chips "starring" the paint from the bottom side.
