Fuel Injection Tank used as a non fuel injected manner.
F.I. fuel tank used with a standard Holley carb in a non- fuel injected manner. Steel line is fuel, black line coming from top of filler is vent going under car, looped line is F.I. return.

Strange stable mates
Things look considerably different under the hoods. Carburetors vs. f.i., lots of accessories vs. none, Ford versus Chevrolet . . . good old American horsepower and fun.

still from '2Fast 2Real for Hollywood' movie
This was for a film intended to poke fun at those 'fast & furious' movies none of us were supposed to actually 'race' we did anyway....I lost. 1 1/2 car length to a 10 sec. race car w/nitrous&slicks ain't bad- is it, considering I had street tires and spun badly.

A unique look
The only car there in non-427SC trim.
I love the BRG paint too.

1960's Tecalemit-Jackson fuel injection system for road racing
This fuel injection system was developed in England in the 1960's, primarily aimed at road racing, as opposed to Hilborn/Algon which was more for drag racing. Tecalemit-Jackson apparently had a better partial throttle metering system for road racing, but because it was a continuous flow/low pressure, it didn't develop the max power as good as the Lucas - high pressure sequential fuel injection system that had better fuel atomization, more power. None the less, it still was used, and I heard it was at least tested in GT40's. Holman-Moody was the US distributor. The throttle bodies were based off of the weber 48 IDA, and could be bolted on any weber 48IDA intake, each throttle body separately.

BB Corvette, Cobra's arch nemisis!
A beautiful example of a '67 427 Corvette. They were reputed to be the Cobra's biggest challenge. They didn't amount to much of a challenge because of the weight and handling, but were, none the less a beautiful car.

FFR #4754 Build
These are just a few pics of my build and yes, even at 6' 4" I fit just fine. Just got home with the kit, drove non-stop from the factory (just south of Boston)

Making a cobra from purely nothing is quite a challenge.
