father in-law's healey
Probably doesn't belong on a cobra forum, but it's a cool car that I've put some time into. Can't wait to finish 'cuz the cobra's next...

Home built Headers
I'm building my headers and sidepipes from scratch. I'm cutting and piecing the bends together to get them to all run nicely. At this stage I'm just taping them in place till I'm happy with how they look. I've got to refit the body and check the clearance around the steering shaft and the footbox. When that's OK I'll fire up the welder.

Home built side pipes
Here is the side pipe with the body in place. The cat is hidden away inside and the joint at the collector is almost invisible. I've still got to make the bracket to the chassis to support theend of the pipe so it's sitting on a box for the moment.

Pedals
Just about finished making the brake and clutch pedals. The brake has a tilton balance bar incorporated into it and actuates two Wilwood master cylinders, The clutch is a single 3/4" wilwood master cylinder. I've still got to make the loud pedal but having the brake and clutch pedals adds a new dimension to sitting in the car and making broom broom noises.

Moto Lita Steering wheel
I got the wheel from Finish Line as I've always liked the Moto Lita wheels. I also like the look of the larger 9 bolt boss. Unfortunately there are no 9 bolt bosses available for my suzuki steering column so I machined up my own. I turned down a SAAS 6 bolt boss and machined an adaptor to fit it. This also let me machine up a working horn button for the center of it. The self adhesive AC logo is recesed into the aluminium horn button.

Steering modification
I've modifed the steering to run teflon lined chrome molly rod ends rather than regular tie rod ends. This gives me a bit more clearance for wider front rims and it improves the bump steer characteristics.

C'était un Rendezvous
"You'd be hard-pressed to find a film as steeped in myth as "C'était un Rendezvous". Absolutely compulsive - this astonishing, exhilarating and now legendary drive through a beautiful 70s Paris with its surprise ending has been enjoyed for many years as an almost Masonic secret among enthusiasts. Whisper the words "Have you seen Rendezvous ?" and you'll receive either a knowing, "No, but I've heard it's unbelievable" or a smug, "It is un-be-lieve-able".
Filmed in 1976, the revered short film by seminal French director Claude Lelouch is regarded as the ultimate in chase scenes - the connoisseurs' trump card in response to "Bullitt" or "The French Connection".

Carter Gette's Cammer-Powered Cobra
Badass SOHC 427 in Carter Gette's Cobra, 1974. This was the fastest Cobra I've ever been near, and terrifying with Carter at the wheel.

Engine w/4bbl
It was initially set up w/this single 4bbl carb setup, I've since converted it to the dual carb setup, which so far has been great!

Fiat Abarth
I've owned the Fiat since I was 16, sold it once because I needed money, and bought it back two years later from the same guy.
