Midnight Blue 427 Recreation - Kirkham
Started with a Kirkham Motorsports rolling chassis with an aluminum body and original style tubular steel frame. Completely stripped car down and rebuilt as an orignal Cobra ground up restoration project using all period correct parts and many parts from original CSX cars. Powered by an NOS 427 Ford Side Oiler engine. All restoration work done by specialists that have worked on original Cobras since the 60s and have restored over 40 originals.

Dash - 427 Cobra Recreation - Kirkham
Steering wheel made by special order by Moto Lita with proper original 1960s wood. This wood is the appropriate lighter multi-color wood used on the original wheels as opposed to the darker wood which is used to make the reproduction wheels today. Original Smiths gauges. Incorrect Kirkham provided Autometer gauges removed. Dash mirror as original without chrome rim. Original AC pedals. Dash screws changed to the correct flat head screws instead of the incorrect philips screws found on most replicas including this Kirkham roller as originally delivered. Original gear shifter from CSX car.

Original Toploader from a CSX Comp car. Original Smiths gauges. Incorrect Kirkham provided gauges removed. Original AC pedals. Dash screws changed to the correct flat head screws instead of the incorrect philips screws found on most replicas including this Kirkham roller as originally delivered. Kirkham roll bar removed and replaced with correct roll bar. No cross bar on this roll bar as original. Proper height to orignal specs also.
