Spread apart the gap w/ a screwdriver, drizzle in some mixed resin and a few fibers, clamp overnight, sand accordingly, test for adhesion.

After purchasing the Jag suspension, had the lot including the rear drive shafts fully overhauled.
A fellow Cobra owner did the same, but the universals which they installed in his drive shafts only lasted 2,400 klms. To save a lot of time and money later and before mine were even fitted to my car, I replaced them with Spicer brand uni's. These are a quality product and should outlast me.
