Paint
Heres a few things that were cleaned up and painted. Once dry and cured, everything was scuffed using a scotch-brite pad then clearcoated with Glisten PC from POR-15 to protect the paint and give it a nice shine.

Engine Install weekend
Took four of use to get this thing in Pass foot box was off 5/8 from other CSX's. Alum Shelby 427 (w/ tempory old Mickey Thompson valve covers) after install put on chrome pent roof style (48IDA wbers)

426 Hemi with OEM Chrome Cleaner
This was my first Big Block and still the only one. This photo is a great reminder why you should keep things that were hard to get your hands on. Regrets to this day! Won't make that mistake again in this lifetime!

My induction system.
If anyone knows of an individual filter that will fit these things let me know. The top is 4" outside diameter and it only has a little clearance on the hood.

1970? Howard 17 ft V-Drive
I think it has a HallCraft V-Drive unit if I can remember correctly. Haven't messed with it since about 1995. Maybe it'll be a winter project.
Engine is a 1962 409 Chevy, 380 HP model. 2 Blade prop.
Unlike my jet boat which kind of fish-tails its way around, this thing rides like it is on rails. Completely different feeling than the jet-boat.
