Home built side pipes
Here is the side pipe with the body in place. The cat is hidden away inside and the joint at the collector is almost invisible. I've still got to make the bracket to the chassis to support theend of the pipe so it's sitting on a box for the moment.
It is an alum trans shaft (from a Mustang car) cutted and welded to fit to good Cobra length. Then you have to adapt the right slipping yoke (with the special U joint) to fit on the gear box output.
Custom made collapsable Steering Shaft with Power Rack & Pinion
This is installed in all our kits. We make our own steering shafts using Ford OEM ends & universal joints. This design makes the saft itself collasable as well as the Ford steering coloumns we use.
