Comet Caliente

My "Cobraized" 1965 Comet on the track (1972). "K" motor and 9" rear out of a HiPo Mustang, Cobra Dual Quads, 1" Shelby sway bar, Disc brakes and 14" GT350 10-spokes. Lotsa fun while I was GT350 dreamin'.

contrary to ones belief:this is NOT a bench for fat women!

I actually found a large woman sitting on my front fender, pocketbook along side, when I turned back toward my car. She seemed insulted when my wife told her to remove her $hitlocker from our fender. Imagine if it was alum!

All done

Ok no cracks about the seats. We painted the car Silver and took it to show our "Freinds" at Morrision's" the car. They took lots of pictures of the kind of car we told them we could build for them. What do you know when we sold the second car we built and went to pick up the frame it had all of OUR ideas and they called it THEIR second generation car!!
Got to love it!!!

My Yellow car

Yellow 1967 427 Corvette.
Bloomington Survivor, Bloomington Gold, Bloomington Benchmark, NCRS Top Flight. Completly original, unrestored car down to the 37 year old tires. Not as fast as the Cobra, but lots of fun.

KMP286

Kirkham 286 a little further along in the polishing....I can't stress enough how difficult it is to get polished without lots of scratches/swirls/etc. Looks stunning at dusk or cloudy, but hardly looks perfect and very much unfinished in sunlight.

Distributor Gear Oiling

Drilled a .040 hole in the right bank oil galley plug. Steel gear and lots of oil should solve the problem of the cam munching distributor gears.
