One more crate to go
After many hours, still one crate to knock down. Kit weathered the journey half way around the world in good shape. Well packed by crew at the factory. Shipping cost almost as much as the kit.

Custom digital touch-screen dash.
I'm an embedded systems engineer and couldn't help taking this to the car...so it has an underdash PC based touchscreen dash running my SnEEC Datalogger for data acquisition, and I built a custom control/relay board that controls all aspects of the car as well...12 channels. A little Buck Rodgers meets Carol Shelby.

15a_Foot_well_insulation
Insulating the foot wells. Insulating the cockpit was one of the smartest things I did.

Shell Valley build
The cowl hoop & windshield are mounted, and drivers side rear wheel well sectioned for tire clearance. I don't know what jig Shell Valley used to align the interior tub to the body, but it was way off. I'll probably have pictures of the fiber glassing effort later.

Arntz wheel well doors
Arntz Type 4 only; not on any Butlers. There's one of these doors on each side of the car, at the rear of the rear wheel wells. They open to the space between the rear bodywork and the frame rails. This one on the passenger side allows access to the battery compartment and slide-out tray. The one on the driver's side supposedly allows you to store a collapsible spare tire but I have not found one with a small enough initial diameter to fit through the door. The wheel has to be taken off first to be able to open the doors.
