The eng was moved back 1-1/2 inch so headers were made to fit just like the Doctored ordered .

original Cobra top

This is an original 1967 Shelby AC Cobra with it's original convertible top. Note how tightly it fits.

Like a dog with it's ears laid-back, the Cobra looks more aggressive with it's windshlied laid-back. That required reworking the top bows to make it fit.

With crew looking on, I preparing Group 7 McLaren for race at MidOhio circa 1968 while crew (my children) look on. Engine is 302 surplus from Jerry Titus' T/A Mustang fitted with Weber carburetion

Dash wires

We used a 96 Cougar for the parts car and fitting the Cougar harness to the car was a bit of a trick. Lot of wires to cut out and trace. If you want to go Fuel injection you have to pay to make it all work! What a mess! Helps when you have the wiring diagrams ;-)

Well looks like we got in the frame ok. Drive shaft looks like it will be a bit short. Talk about your tight fit! Less than 1/4 inch on both sides of the trans pan!

Hey it looks a bit wide sure it will fit? Look close see the Ac and Power steering pump? Yes we got it hooked up in the car! Can YOU spot the Supercharger? Yes it is there.

The right side of the engine bay showing the ram air base palte. You can also see the steering shaft bracket and bearing as well as the heater hose hook up in the rear. Tight fit.
