ERA 561 Front 3/4 view
There has only been a couple ERA 427's ever built to accurately reproduce the "street" version of the 427 without sidepipes, roll bar and hood scoop. I've owned 3 ERA 427's #76, #196 and this one. It's got a sideoiler 427 in it with aluminum heads and dual 4's. It really "scoots!"

Thanks ERA! Don't know what I'd be doing without you guys. This sure beats most of the alternatives!

As a dad, it never got any better for me than this and now, without Ray, it never can.......

ARE Wheels Front
10-07-02. These are the current wheels on the car. They're A.R.E. rims. They are not correct, I know, but for the time being, they will have to do. They have center pieces, but they look more period correct without them,

ARE Wheels Rear

Fire Extinguisher . . . Don't leave home without it.
What would have been an otherwise toasted Mustang turned out to be a scorched hood because a fire extinguisher was handy. Some CO2 residue and blistered hood is better than a burned out hulk. The rear carb's float bowl hung up, causing fuel to pour out the top and run down onto the headers, resulting in a major underhood fire.

Side pipes
Well here's the finished drivers side pipe. Just needs to be HPC coated. The baffles are done and should work without being too restrictive. I now have to build a mirror image of this set up for the passengers side.

Wrong control arms
No matter what I tried there is no way the spring is going to fit without fouling the upper control arm.
