Chassis - Front
This is the front of the West Coast chassis. It was designed to accept (as standard) a 460 engine. Mine has the optional 7 core radiator. Flex-A-Lite 150 fan (2800 cfm). A very heavy but rigid frame. 11 inch ventilated discs. Got it as a 'rolling chassis', so the build quality and alignment of parts are not questionable. Rides like 'on a rail'.

Mustang Rear disc brakes
Original rear drums replaced with T-Bird/Cougar rear disc brakes and grooved rotors. Lowering blocks, sway bar and Bilstein shocks used.

Tremec 5-speed with Dual Disc clutch
Tremec 5-speed behind McLeod small-diameter clutch and flywheel. Scatter proof bellhousing not required, which saves a lot of weight and the headache of misaligned bellhousing.

My "Cobraized" 1965 Comet on the track (1972). "K" motor and 9" rear out of a HiPo Mustang, Cobra Dual Quads, 1" Shelby sway bar, Disc brakes and 14" GT350 10-spokes. Lotsa fun while I was GT350 dreamin'.
