the LAST 289 Cobra roadster
CSX2589, the very last original 289 Cobra roadster built. Owned by Carroll Shelby since new. Factory automatic car.
At one time, Shelby had a 351C swapped into this car. It has now been switched back to a 289 HiPo with a C4 trans.

Webers on a 351C
This is my 351C during the "mock-up" stage. I had two sets of headers fabricated - one for the cast iron heads, and another set for the aluminium heads.

Engine bay, 351 Cleveland, turkey pan, FE expansion tank
351 Cleveland with rare Shelby valvecovers, completely dismantled, built up as "new". Big Blocks are very expensive here in Germany so i built a "broad-shouldered lookalike 351C".

ERA 351 FIA
BOSS 351C small block in my ERA FIA car. Aussie block, solids, 48 IDA's - sweet music through the pipes - it doesn't get much better than this.

My "old" Weber manifold on left - "new" intake for B351 High Port Aluminum heads. The SVO manifoold popped up on e-bay at exactly the right time.

Weber intakes
My new SVO intake on right, after milling "Hall Pantera" out of the valley, and adding a rear stud for new linkage.

351C Weber intakes
High-Port manifold on right. Note vacuum holes on inboard side, as opposed to th eold intake, where they were outboard.
Two bosses on intake for "hard" linkage, as opposed to th e"cable" linkage of the Pantera system.
