302 Frame

This is the frame for the first Cobra kit we built. It was an early Everett Morrision car. We installed a powersteering rack when Everett said it could not be done on his car.

302 Engine

This is a shot of the engine in our first car. 302 4v with c-4 trans. We installed heat, freash air, Powersteering, radio extention on the dash,(Seems like everyone does it now but not in the 80's) Power antenna, custom fuel tank, (Everett was installing the VEGA tank at the time.) windshield washer, and several other items

All done

Ok no cracks about the seats. We painted the car Silver and took it to show our "Freinds" at Morrision's" the car. They took lots of pictures of the kind of car we told them we could build for them. What do you know when we sold the second car we built and went to pick up the frame it had all of OUR ideas and they called it THEIR second generation car!!
Got to love it!!!

Good Bye to our first car

Well we sprayed a coat of tinted clear on the silver car and this guy came by and bought it for a person in Sweden! We got a call form another owner a few years later from France and a year or so later from another owner in Sweden again. As far as we no she is still tearing up the roads overseas.

427 Holman & Moody in 2nd car

Well here is the roller for the 2nd car we built. It has a fresh 427 Holman and Moody, that I warmed over to push 500hp + and over 7,000 rpm. Lemans rods & crank, medium riser heads twin Holleys and so on, scatter proof bell, our custom fuel tank,(The one Everett stole from us, can you believe they asked me how I solved the vent problem? Lot of nerve), a set of custom headers by us, 4 wheel disc and gas shocks. Can you say go FAST?

427 Roller

Another shot of the 427 car. Ever wonder why the early cars run hot? The rad was set back at the top and the air would run straight over the top and not through the rad. Guess what happens if you lean it forward?

427 Done

Well here she is in all her glory. 427 sideoiler, 4 speed, Powersteering, heat and fresh air system, 4 speaker sound, trac-loc 9 inch rear and on and on. This baby would do 75mph in FIRST GEAR!!

A pair of Gemini Cobras

We took the cars to a show in Daytona with the owner of the second car. As it turned out it was a Chey dealer and Surprize a Chevy won the prize! Kind of funny since everyone said we had the nicest cars at the show. Oh well we got a lot of prizes with our 302 before we let her go.

Daves Car finish up

A shot of me and one of the guys finishing up the car for Dave. If you look close you can just see the stripe. To bad we can not get that car to shine!

Finish up

One more check under the car before delivery. See the struts that hold up the hood and trunk? We have been doing that for years. Why use a steel rod and have to lift it when it will open by it's self?
