Naked 533 cid EFI
A look at Naja's powerplant with most of the 'accessories' off of it. Atop is a 1200 cfm Accel throttle body, then a Torker II manifold (a significant restriction for this engine), to the new Edelbrock 6066 aluminum heads, 65 lb. Siemens injectors (supplied by an Aeroequip pump). Custom grind roller CompCam with .662 i/e lift, solid lifters, roller rockers under the custom valve cover by Innovation West (only ones like them in the world). A medium stoker with .080 overbore gives 533 cid. Wiseco pistons have 18cc dish to give 9.8:1 compression ratio. I was surprised when the redline was set at 7k, but the 2 people doing the engine work said it would have no trouble handling it.
It dyno'd at 491 hp (5200 rpm) and 548 ft-lbs (4700 rpm) - remember the Torker II being a huge restriction. It was built with reliability (first) in mind, then for torque. The lowest rpm that they data logged during the dyno was 2600, and it was already doing 525 ft-lbs.
This powers a C6 tranny leading to a 9 inch, live rear end with a 2.73 running gear. Haven't run it on the road much, but have gotten over 15 mpg on two, short trips. Spark control completely MSD including 7AL-2, Pro Power HVC coil, billet distributor with Pro cap. All of this is managed by a SpeedPro ECU. It idles at about 950 rpm.

GT 40 Aluminum Heads
I have just worked the ports and runners over and shaved these y303 heads combustion chambers down to 55 cc's, those are Proform 1.7:1 pedestal mount rockers which fit under the short cast aluminum valve covers after you remove the baffles and machine the mounting bosses flush. Craig Blood of Blood Enterprises in Auburn Washington is my chief technical advisor, parts supplier and machinist for the shaving and valve cutting, i cannot recommend he and his crew highly enough! If you want the best quality and no BS he is your man.

Rolling
Well looks like we got in the frame ok. Drive shaft looks like it will be a bit short. Talk about your tight fit! Less than 1/4 inch on both sides of the trans pan!

Snakes
Fabricated headers to increase primary tube length rather than use OEM Short FIA block hugger type. A "LOT" of work.
