Close up of Vent tube off of Filler Neck.

Venting tank off of upper filler neck. Inhibits possible siphoning due to fuel sloshing.

Fuel Injection Tank used as a non fuel injected manner.

F.I. fuel tank used with a standard Holley carb in a non- fuel injected manner. Steel line is fuel, black line coming from top of filler is vent going under car, looped line is F.I. return.

Plain But Potent

No PCV in 1965, hence no filler caps in valve covers. No badges either. That's the way they were. (Refer to B&W pics above.)
Look close and you'll see an original NASCAR aluminum water pump as well as an original Shelby Sidewinder intake manifold. The fuel log is original also, but should be gold cad instead of black.

Notice the small air bleed hole to purge any air from system after filling.

Finally, one color

This is a shot of the body off frame after all body work has been completed. This is not a primer, it is a polyester spray fill being applied. It will be completely block sanded and them primer will be sprayed and blocked again prior to paint.

Custom fuel neck
