I made this removable transmission tunnel cover so i could have help with the transmission removable and reinstallation and not have to remove shift linkage

Retro shifter
Early sixties stick and knob, late Mustang shifter body, aod trans and my homeslice quadrant. The reverse detent Tee is now the shift selector.

Throttle valve cable routing
Relocated the tv cable since the shift lever on the trans is flipped. Much cleaner.

Flipped the shift lever to install floor shifter. Had to reroute the tv cable.

Reverse lockout too
The cover has to be removable to replace the cable. I used aluminum pop rivets to make it easy.

Looks good to me
The quick pin locks reverse out if so desired. Too bad my pretty tinning will get covered with carpet.
