West Coast Griffin Rad Brackets
Here is a shot of my custom rad brackets made from 1/8 x 1.5" aluminum strip. Its a two peice design without welds and is adjustable to the core thickness. This core is 2.75" wide. I used High density EPDM sponge foam to line the inside of the bracket to absord vibration and protect the core frame.

Heat shields added
I glued 3/4" foam insulation to the floorboards, and then sealed it off with sheet aluminium.
