                | 48mm IDA weber vs 58mm weber intakes
On the top is a new blue thunder 48mm IDA intake, with a 10 degree canted mount angle.

Below is a 1960's Hilborn Fuel injection system for a ford 427 with High Riser heads. The system consisted of two pieces, two banks of 4 throttle bores, of 2 7/16" (62mm) diameter, that are bolted to the top of the intake. I believe the intake has the 58mm weber bolt pattern and spacing. As you can see, the throttle bores are straight up, not canted at all. A somewhat rare intake. It has been polished, and no identification marks are visable. This should make alot of top end power. I unbolted one of the fuel injection throttle body castings to expose the mating surface of the intake.

As you compare the two intakes, you can see the larger bolt pattern of the 58mm weber intake, as well as the larger ports. There isn't enough of material on a 48IDA intake to redrill for a 58mm pattern.

                | dash
Dash is mounted...photo isn't reversed, its a right hand drive car. Added a Dakota digital gear indicator to the right of the steering wheel as it is an automatic, have both left and right turn indicators and moved the high beam toward the center. Using LED's for flashers and high beam. Glove box door is going to be a pain to install, have to insert raised surface inside to mount hinge. Huge space so will mount CD player inside. Key right, horn left. Dimmer switch on floor.

                | Western States Cobra group meetup at Murphys CA
Great turnout for a smaller meetup! 32 people and we were only expecting 22 for breakfast. The Central Valley crew came threw big time. By far, the picture of the day for me was seeing Alan and Valerie's little Danica who comes along for all the Cobra events. Danica was taking in every aspect of the situation as Cobras were exiting breakfast at Murphys. Isn't she cute!
