1978 Cobra Jet Jet Boat
Boat manufactured by company called Cobra Jet. 18 ft long, shallow V-Hull. 460 Ford, tunnel ram, berkley jet pump drive.
The boat accelerates like a high performance car, unbelieveable. Great boat for water skiing. The only boat I've ever only needed to give it part throttle to pull up a skiier. Full throttle will rip you arms off. With full throttle, the boat will accelerate so hard, it leaps out of the water before the skier gets even half out of the water, and you have to let go at that point.
The boat is easy to trailer, to launch, to load on trailer, etc. The best boat I have ever owned. Easiest boat to use, most fun with lowest maintenance.
Kind of like a cobra, but on the water.

FIA_Suitcase_Study1
It’s documented that (2) AC factory cars were prepared with FIA suitcase "dimples" (See Photos). The second modification was to enlarge the trunk base to allow the suitcase to fit upright (vertical) and further down into the trunk as shown. If you look closely at the photo you can see the suitcase also fit horizontal and was held in place with a “bungee cord”. You can also see the bolts protruding out the bottom of the suitcase which originally held the suitcase upright. I think this also explains why some of the FIA cars had dimples while others didn’t.
As for the actual size of the suitcase – FIA Historic Racing Championships - Appendix J. Both 1964 and 1965.
State:
“270 - Luggage trunk
A covered space being an integral part of the coachwork but outside of the space occupied by the front seats, large enough to receive a trunk of
65 cm X 40 cm X 20 cm. minimum, besides the spare wheel, tools or the folded hood, shall be provided, excluding the spare wheel, tools or removed canopy.”

FE pilot bushing
FE pilot bushing. One on left has interference due to a batch of Quicktime BH's being a bit shallow (from late 2009/early2010). One on right is a simple, cheap approach rather than a new BH or spacers.
