Passenger side impact bar

The forward-brace bar and side impact bar provide good lifting points to hoist yourself out.
Black foam pad on tunnel is removable, provides a cushion against sharp edges of bare aluminum tunnel.

Passenger side bars

I thought a 289-style forward brace would cramp the passenger - so far, no complaints.

Early Contemporary trailing arms

Long trailing arms extended forward. These did not work because of the rear axle being solid mounted and the radius of the trailing arm fighting the lower control arm's path.

Vintage Wheel with billboards

Spring is near and this project needs to move forward. Vintage Wheel with forged and polished spinner with optional anti-theft fittings. This adds additional safety since it prevents spinner from coming off while on the move.

7.11.07 - The LS2 motor and 6L80E transmission sit in the chassis to establish the optimum positioning of the engine and gearbox mounts. It also allows the gear selector lever to be positioned on the consul as far forward as is required.

Fiberglass is hitting tube. Body is already as far forward as it can go. Do I shave the tube or the fg?

Polished 304 stainless steel "Gilmore" Kit. Muffler

The muffler does not have glass pack to be blown out, but rather louvers. They can be placed going forward, to quite the sound but, it hurts the torque some.

motor mounts

Had a serious problem with ground clearance so raised the motor up in the chassis and a tab forward to clear local monster speed bumps and deep potholes.

Here you can see my envclosed trailer that I store besied my garage. To make it easier to put the trailer into this spot, I have installed a front hitch on my Aviator (much easier looking forward instead of craning your necj while trying to manuever it).
