What a day! I got to drive the Cobra for my 21st birthday, Many thanks to Nigel Hulme....nearly 15 years on & I can still remember every minute!!!

Goodyear's name is a part of the Daytona's legend. Remember the quantity of speed world records at Bonneville that has been registered on the big FIA book. On my car, I have only one sticker: GOODYEAR... to remember the Legend

1970? Howard 17 ft V-Drive
I think it has a HallCraft V-Drive unit if I can remember correctly. Haven't messed with it since about 1995. Maybe it'll be a winter project.
Engine is a 1962 409 Chevy, 380 HP model. 2 Blade prop.
Unlike my jet boat which kind of fish-tails its way around, this thing rides like it is on rails. Completely different feeling than the jet-boat.

Fuel Line -Hard Tube Steel Adapter to 6 AN Flex Line
To ensure I use all steel, I had to use different vendors, Aeroquip hard tube compression fitting and Earls Auto fit hose end, Russell fuel hose, but all coated steel material for a reliable leak free fuel connection. This is intended as a street application so NO aluminum line is used. Remember, aluminum hard line may not be D.O.T. legal for the steet in your State!!
