Shelby R Model Clone
My 66 Shelby R Clone Specs.
D.S.S. Pro Bullet 306/308 Short Block Level 10 CNC
Rods: Forgings, shot-peened, Magna Fluxed, CNC Diamond resized and fitted with ARP Wave Loc rod bolts. Balanced to racing tolerances.
Crank: Production crankshaft, thermal cleaned, shot-peened, Magna Fluxed, precision ground, oil scooped and chamfered and balanced to racing tolerances.
Pistons: DSS PRO-LITE Forged 2 valve relief flat top, CNC fly-cut for most aftermarket race cams and heads. Balanced to racing tolerances.
Rings: Sealed Power/ Speed-Pro Moly rings.
Bearings: Tri-metal rod and main bearings.
Block: 5.0 roller cam block, thermal cleaned, stress relieved, Magna Fluxed, threads chased, mains checked and corrected, oil galleys tapped for thread in plugs and the decks are CBN squared and equalized.
Transmission- C4 Automatic
Rear End- 8 Inch Detroit Locker 355 Gears.
Gt40Y Heads ported and polished.

BDR at Classic racing in SA Recently
Tony Martin Racing His lightweight BDR at Zwartkops with David Piper and the rest of the historics crowd. The BDR was running rings around everything else, so much that they handicapped him by a LAP for the Main race. He was leading untill a classic Jag Knocked into him.

Ball Joint Seal Ring
This is a Fix for A Arms that use the Chrystler ball joint without a seal groove machined in. This one was from B and B. A 3/16" steel ring was added to accept the ball joint seal. It was tack tig welded on the outside edges. The rings were cut on a water jet by Kirkhams Motorsports. Barry McGill can also do the fix.

Ball Joint Seal Ring
A fix for A Arms shipped without the ball joint seal groove machined in. Ring added to accept a Chrystler Ball Joint Seal. The 3/16" thick rings were cut on Kirkhams Motorsports water jet. Barry McGill can also do the fix. The bad thing was B&B sent me the wrong arms that I paid to get fixed.

Air Filter
Fabricating top and bottom filter rings, out of a Morris Mini door skin, hand beaten flange over formers.
