Ford G7-A CanAm car
Derivative of the GT40 Mk IV, the G7-A was powered by a prototype three-valve FI engine driving through an automatic transaxle. Note wing. Outboard ends are supported at suspension uprights and inboard above transaxle. Exhaust was fabricated from titanium tubing. No expense spared.

Ford Calliope
Ford was developing this engine to use at LeMans in 1968 before the FIA limited the engine size for prototypes. It then became the engine for the G7-A.
