Fred worked for Shelby and owned a couple cars. 2169 was a display car that got damaged. Fred bought it and titled after repairing so although a 65 it carries 2169.

This is 1 of 2 tops known to have been made. It was an Co. show car damaged during unloading off truck so got pushed to the side til bought by an employee and repaired. Many upgrades were added by Fred J.
