BB Corvette, Cobra's arch nemisis!

A beautiful example of a '67 427 Corvette. They were reputed to be the Cobra's biggest challenge. They didn't amount to much of a challenge because of the weight and handling, but were, none the less a beautiful car.

Dark side power

Classic Roadsters Chevy 350/TH 350 combo. Very few Ford V-8's in Indo and even less parts. Practicality over originality. Bit better than the ol' girl's Holden 6.

Lest we forget...

With all the "progress" our nation has made, look how far we are from what created the USA to begin with.
9/11 was a wake-up call, we hit the snooze button and rolled over....

Painted but stripes not applied

In the flesh looks slightly less gaudy and with a richer colour.

CSX 2002 Engine Bay

CSX 2002 with Ford 289 cubic inch small block. 1967 competition engines were claimed to develop a maximum of 390 horse power at 6750 RPM. This 1962 version, the first competition engine, probably made significantly less.

HCS Coupe Nose shot

Look how beautiful the finish is on the coupe. Your painter will love the care that has been taken to produce such a flawless gel coat finish. The whole body was buffed less than an hour to produce this finish ...I was there.

Street Beasts Driver Sidepipe

Here is the Street Beasts sidepipe on the driver side. Another lesson learned: if you use a 351W for mock up and are installing a 302, THERE IS A DIFFERENCE! The 302 is 2" narrower (at the head) and about 1" lower (at the head) than the 351. We had to "adjust" the motor mounts when I put the dummy 302 in.

4" Pipe installed

This is the height of the 4" pipe, as installed. You may consider 5" or 6" pipe, which would require less cutting of the body. Using larger pipe will affect the other dimensions.

disconnected Paxtons

I disconnected the Paxtons for a different flavor. Glad I did - I found a vacuum leak at one carb - never noticed it with positive pressure. Idles better, too. Now I have a track day option.
I considered giving the Paxtons a break for the Summer but she didn't run any cooler. Lesson learned.
