Over 200 mph at Salt Flats
On downwind run to set high speed at just 220 mph. Spun car once at 210 mph when tire failed during one run. Changed tire and underwear, then continued with runs. Eventually set C Production land speed record of 217.849 mph.

Aluminum Replica of CSX3002 with 24 quart dry sump
Replica of CSX3002, the first 427 Cobra and the link between the 289 and 427 cars. 427 aluminum head engine with heads painted black, 427 round tube chassis, 289 flat bottom front end and 289 dash and gauge layout, front braced roll bar, square oil cooler designed by Ron Butler, inner fender screen ventalation, fiberglass brake ducts, 42 gallon tank (cell), 24 quart fender mounted dry sump, full leather driver racing seat and harness. Displayed at Monterey Historic Races in 1997 with the actual CSX3002. Ran 160 MPH on the front straight at Road America September 1999. My current cobra replica, a Crendon CR427, with 351 cleveland, bored 30 over, aussie 2V quench heads with 4v valves, SVO roller rockers, comp cams 270 H with anti pumps, canton sump, driving through a Tremec TKO, and power lock jag IRS, my best cobra replica yet!
