My Sumitomos on Vintage Pin Drives
I purchased the tyres direct from 'Tire Rack' in Indiana USA after pricing them locally at $AU365 each for the rears and $AU254 each for the fronts which totalled $AU1,238.
The 'Tire Rack' prices were $US96 each for rears & $US92 each for fronts, plus $US191.84 freight totalling $US567.84 or $AU710.05 delivered to my door.
The Vintage Rims / Adaptors were $AU2,697 plus $AU302.49 GST direct from Vintage in the States.

dash
Dash is mounted...photo isn't reversed, its a right hand drive car. Added a Dakota digital gear indicator to the right of the steering wheel as it is an automatic, have both left and right turn indicators and moved the high beam toward the center. Using LED's for flashers and high beam. Glove box door is going to be a pain to install, have to insert raised surface inside to mount hinge. Huge space so will mount CD player inside. Key right, horn left. Dimmer switch on floor.

TDC fixture used to support dial indicator
found this worked better than the magnetic base which always seemed to creep...this is quite solid.

Hemmings Motor News, January 1980
This is 2286 again. Mr. Soprano, owner of Motor Classics, acquired the car around Aug/Sep/Oct 1979 for a then bargain (though certainly an outrageous sum of money for the time) price, which was somewhere around $80k to $90k. Was probably already a 6-figure car by late 1978.
Sources indicate that he had the car up for sale for awhile. He never disclosed his price in print, but revealed it to serious inquirers. From Nov 79 thru Mid 80 the price was $150k.
The car wasn't sold until 1982, and it is likely that the price paid was a good deal more than what he had been asking 2 years prior.

Bell-Crank close-up
Notice the Block I painted black. I stamped in a pointer (V painted in white) points to a scribed Red line on the #2 runner (just below the ARP carb stud). That is an indicator for me to view is my linkage is out of alignment. I hasn't moved once from the day i installed and adjusted it.
