3924's work well with SCJ heads. Valvoline's VR-1 racing oil has added ZDDP (zinc) to protect flat tappet cams. Brad Penn racing oils also have a high zinc content. Standard passenger car oil no longer have the zinc, and the diesel oils dropped it about a year ago.
