11 years old....time for some work
time to do a little work on the Cobra. After 11 years of faithful service she's gettin some upgrades.
The front end sits a little higher now with the coil-over shocks and tubular suspension; another update while the engine was out.
My lovely car and even lovelier wife.
ahh....545 cubic inches of goodness. When does spring get here?
The engine is in and running. Still needs to be tuned and have a few other small things taken care of but she'll be ready by spring

Long time since I updated but here is the 545 with the bottom end all done.
The driveshaft.
Had to take the bellhousing off to get the transmission out. It wouldn't fit down between the frame rails so I took it off and pulled it up through...
Transmission is out and ready for some new seals, bushings and paint.

the old timing chain.
The old pistons and rods. These are actually for sale if anyone wants them. They are Keith Black Hypereutectic aluminum, 0.030 over with rings on...
The flywheel and pressure plate. The flywheel is going to be for sale too. It needs to be resurfaced which is around $25. It's a McLeod 463220...
The other side.
the Canton oil pan needs a little help. The Michigan winters were not kind to it.
the old 460 crank shaft. Is it for sale? Well sure...make an offer.
