COB 6008
COB 6008 built to spec for Bruce Ropner (Founder of Croft Race Circuit) in 1964. In 1964, used for qualifying at Croft by Jack Sears, when his Willment Cobra was undergoing an emergency engine rebuild. Sold to Keith Schellenberg in 1965, Keith and the car took part in the Angolan Grand Prix, coming a respectable 9th overall. Recently the car has undergone a very sympathetic refurbishment, returning it to its original white livery. Continually campaigned and over the past couple of decades has attended many historical race meets, including Silverstone Classic, Classic Le Mans, The Tour Auto and The Goodwood revival, to mention a few.
