Now that the second of the 3 rounds with the polishers is finished we can now get the underside of the hood and trunk ready to aluminum plate or as it's know here "Morphed"
Once the body is back on the chassis we will do the final polishing

That looks really great. This is a fantastic and long overdue project. Can't wait to see the finished car.

Time to start adding some bling to Eddies hood and trunk.
As most may already know, we can metal plate just about any subsurface with our metal plating process . Our process takes heated metal, in this case aluminum and as it's in liquid state it's atomized and then flash cooled to protect the subsurface.
Here's a couple of photos of my ERA hood and Fred's hood.
Eddies hood will look REAL nice since there's no hood scoop hole.

I've just come across this & found it a very interesting thread. I'm doing something similar to the buck I'm building to use to make my aluminium body. I'm modifying a 427 SC shell to look like a 289 LeMans car, loads of fun
