In making this replica of an original Amco rack I found 2 challenges. The first was to find dyes for the correct radii and the second was to find 1/2"x3/4" flat oval tubing for the 3 cross bars. Although I made it out of heavier wall tubing,the physical appearance must look exactly like an original,thus chrome steel rather than polished stainless. So far so good.
