Couldn't agree more. ETA 7750 based movements are good, but they're ubiquitous and drive overpriced watches that are all owned by a couple conglomerates. It's maybe a $300 movement. The rest is the case, strap and profit. Lots of profit.
If it was a manual wind Lemania 187X based movement like in the Omega Speedy Pro...  That's a quality, reliable and old world movement without getting into silly haute horology.
Actually, my biggest gripe about this watch is that it's not at all "Shelby Cobra" like.
