Not for nothing but a B&M that uses a box stock 7750 movement for about $5000 all in is not any kind of value. Wait a year and find one @ about 60% off.

Find one that isn't working at a deep discount. It will still be correct twice per day.

Couldn't agree more. ETA 7750 based movements are good, but they're ubiquitous and drive overpriced watches that are all owned by a couple conglomerates. It's maybe a $300 movement. The rest is the case, strap and profit. Lots of profit.

If it was a manual wind Lemania 187X based movement like in the Omega Speedy Pro...

That's a quality, reliable and old world movement without getting into silly haute horology.

Actually, my biggest gripe about this watch is that it's not at all "Shelby Cobra" like.
