What transmission are you using and what is the final drive gear? I have 3.70 in my car and I love them, but my final drive is .54, so I can cruise the highway at 1900-2200 RPM without a problem. That is with roughly 575hp and FI.

I would do it without issue unless you had a 4 speed or a trans with a 1:1 final drive ratio.
