Default tool kit

Hi Greg. Sure there must be more to your story. Through all the years of my concours judging at the conventions I obviously never saw an NAF Cobra. Years ago in the 70's and eighties there were at least 10 to 15 cars that I had to go over without an assistant. I had no time to look at the other cars in the car corrals unless someone said there was a great car that I just had to see. I have two complete original tool kits one came with my car in 1973 when I bought it and the other was given to me by my dear friend before he sold his Cobra and his collection of GT-40's. I have had numerous face offs with owners and handlers about tool kits. I have discussed at length with British tool specialists , vendors, about time frames, applications, trends etc. Having a very early 427 car and the tool kit from a very late 427 CSX 3358 which are the same, it makes me fairly sure that I have the tool kit for 427 car correct. I have also probably judged or been employed to survey over 125 427 cars according to my judging sheet records. The wrenches in your secondary file of photos does have both the British Standard and Whitworth markings as they should but in a slightly different orientation. In the recent past, I have seen numerous photo displays of components on the internet at local concours from Boston to Greenwich to Meadowbrook, to Pebble claiming to have an expert certify that they are absolutely original - perfect correct. As mentioned in previous posts my very patient brother traveled on the Government's dime numerous times to the AC factory, Spain, and Germany, hauling Cobra components for me in the 60's even before i owned my Cobra. I have the Elora wrenches in unopened cardboard boxes with the waxed paper and multiple Elora stamps bought in the 60's. I have read with fascination your research concerning the Goodyear tires. I have read your original manuscript that you submitted before Kopec worked it over. He had said you have to see this. It was wonderful. Only a sick guy like myself could appreciate it, he said. Good luck with you sales and maybe someday we will meet at a show, you'll recognize me being yelled out by someone claiming to be the local originality expert. Good evening
