x2 from me - Cobra and Alfa
Reluctantly sold the Alfa after 40 years ownership and enjoyment ….to make way for the Cobra

Cheers!

Thanks fellas!

Tom, I have seen your username in quite a few posts and and wondered about your history with the brand! As you see with your truck, these hemi engines really do great in day to day driving and haven't done me wrong over the years (knock on wood).

Glen, I would be interested in hearing about the Alfa you owned for so long. To commit to 40 years of ownership it must have offered some great drives. Was it a Giulia, GTA, perhaps 164?

My wife isn't a fan of the Alfa as the classics or modern V8s are more appealing; however, the driving characteristics of the Giulia are simply too good to consider replacing.

Happy to talk Alfas, as well as Cobras ....after all, the title of this thread is "how about some new pictures of our cars"

The Alfa was an Alfetta sedan, vintage 1976. We bought him in 1982 with 32000km aboard. Sold him last year with around 250000 "on the clock".
Was a great car, and sorry to see him go to its new owner, but we knew he would look after him. He had a repaint back around 1998, and the bodywork had survived very well, considering its age. The Alfetta had a lot of history with us, all documented. He was very much part of the family...

Here he was at the start of the "Bay to Birdwood" rally in Adelaide

Cheers!
Glen
