Ultimately, here is the proper answer:

Replica owners start here:

"It's a replica of a 427 Shelby Cobra,.."

Shelby owners (CSXxxxx) start here:

"...which is a modified version of the 289 Cobra, which was a modified AC ACE, which was a modified Tojiero design that was based upon a replica of a Ferrari 166 Barchetta."
